In the series Quo Vaditis? I continue to explore blurred images, but my attachment to each subject becomes more ambitious.
The furtive and solitary beings that used to surprise my lens with their blurred essence now give way to hurried, compact, indifferent crowds that advance, come together, stop, and then continue on their way without ever exchanging glances.
Each photograph has been conceived as a fresco and will be made into a large-format edition (2 x 9 meters). The characters will thus appear nearly life size, creating a particular link between the work and the viewer. My intention is to confront the spectator with his own scale to strengthen the message. I would like the viewer to hear the persistent sound of pounding steps until the burden of an inexorable weight of so many presences becomes the medium of both the physical and the aesthetic object.
